African Ministry

There's a large population of Africans living in Stockholm. They have moved here to find refuge or to persue education, jobs and the hope of a better life.

A large number of the Africans in Stockholm come from countries were revival is going on and the churches are growing. As they move to Stockholm many tend to lose sight of God as they find themselves in a society that puts high demands on people and where church and God seem to be absent. Coming to Sweden there’s a risk they lose their beliefs and let the Swedish society take control over their lives. We want to be an encouragement to these young Africans and to the African churches to be strong in their faith and to bring the “African fire” into Sweden and the Swedish churches.

We also see God raising up missionaries from Africa to be apart of the re-evangelisation of Europe. We have seen quite a few African staff and teams coming to be apart of our ministry and we have also helped planting churches mainly in the African community. We believe God wants to use Africans to be a testimony of Jesus Christ in a Swedish society.

Through the years we’ve been organizing African festivals and conferences and connected with many African churches in Stockholm. Every summer we hold a football tournament that are bringing teams from mainly African countries together to play together, build contacts and have fun.
