Jesusmanifestation
In the year of 2007 a vision was born among some Christian leaders in Sweden. Not knowing of each other God started to speak to them that it was time to for the Christians to come together and publicly confess their love and faith in Jesus Christ.
A movement started within the churches where all the different church families, the Orthodox and the Catholic together with the Lutheran and the Pentecostal joined together to see this day take place. In May 2008 the first “Jesusmanifestation”, or “Jesus proclamation”, that would be a better word in english, took place. Around 15 000 people where gathered in “Kungsträdgården”, to confess and celebrate what we all have in common, Jesus Christ. The coming years the Jesusmanifestation has grown to become an event that Christians travel from all over the nation to be apart of. Many churches are involved with meetings taking place in squares and parks around the city. Marches from these parks and squares meet up in Kungsträdgården where a big celebration is being held. In May 2010 25 000 people came together to lift up Jesus. Good fruit has come out of this and we see this as a part of the new things God wants to do in our nation.
